Cadbury 3D Invites
Our Cadbury 3D invites really helped build excitement and anticipation ahead of the launch of a new range of ice cream. While designing the invitations, we were determined to create something that captured the fun, flavour, and imagination at the heart of the brand. Additionally, we did not want the invites simply to convey the information of the event, without any glitz or excitement. Instead, we made sure the invitations were an exciting experience, which would surprise and delight the guests from the very onset.

Undoubtedly, an invitation to an ice cream launch needs to be fun. So, we wanted the 3D Cadbury invites to include a pop-up element that would be bold, playful, and full of energy. While creating the centrepiece, we started to explore a multi-layered design showing the brand’s beloved mascots. The five penguins stand in formation as a marching band. At the front, the drum major penguin proudly leads the way, baton raised. On the layer behind, there are four cheeky musician penguins playing horns and percussion. Additionally, there is a background layer featuring a dynamic ray effect with chocolate pieces and marshmallows bursting outwards.
Next, we thought about how to add even more excitement to the invitations. Additionally, the client wanted their guests to get a taste of the new product. With this in mind, we designed an interactive lift flap inside the invitation. Guests open this to reveal a marvellous chocolate treat: a small taster of Cadbury’s new product. As well as surprising guests, this was a great way of showing them a sneak peak of what is to come. Additionally, it is always fun to add an interactive element to an invitation.
