Description
Each card has an intricate 3D laser-cut design, which hangs from the page like a mobile. This clever mechanism causes the designs to swivel every now and then in an eye-catching display. The 3D pop-up element lies flat when the card is closed, allowing it to be posted in an envelope. Additionally, the cards stand sturdily upright, making them perfect for decorating desks or mantelpieces.
Our pop-up Christmas cards are completely plastic-free. Furthermore, we have used Forestry Commission paper which has been responsibly sourced.
Our paper engineer, Iain Smyth, originally designed these cards for personal use, sending them to his friends and family. Due to the cards popularity, we have decided to make them available for purchase so others can enjoy their charm. After designing the original A Partridge in a Pear Tree card, Iain decided to continue with the twelve days of Christmas. This winter, Iain will be working on a Seven Swans A-swimming card. Looks like he’ll have his hands full when he reaches Twelve Drummers Drumming, but we’re sure he’s up to the challenge!
